Element Configurations & Conditioning

While creating or adjusting a flow in the “Flow Editor” section of the campaign’s main menu, each element offers a variety of styles, scores and other formatting adjustments.

Since our Elements library is wide, style and other options may vary depending on the element you configure. Please note that we are not able to transfer different styles and formatting options to elements which do not support them.

All configuration options are displayed on the right side of the flow page right after you click on the element you want to configure. This side of the elements offers you options to:

  • add texts and translations to internal names, questions, descriptions, bounds, etc.
  • choose the design of the element like emojis, stars, numbers, boxes, sliders, etc.
  • choose the style when it comes to colours
  • select score calculations like average, scores, top box/bottom box, etc.
  • mark element as required or optional
  • randomise the order of options, limitations within characters or choices

Element configuration also offers option to add conditions. Conditions can define the visibility of elements.
For example, there is an NPS question: On a scale of 0-10 how likely would it be for you to recommend our company to a friend or colleague? followed by element Do you have any suggestions for what should we improve for the future?.

However, you don’t want to collect suggestions from everyone, just from people who are detractors (selected 0-6 points in the NPS question). Thanks to the conditions, you are able to do so.

In this specific case, you need to add a condition to the NPS question and hide a follow-up question so that it only appears once a value from 0 to 6 is selected in the NPS.

The error message tells you if your conditions are correctly set. You can even set conditions for elements placed on the End screen to have various end scenarios for satisfied and dissatisfied customer/employee responses.

⚠️ Remember to use the Preview option to click through the flow and check out all your configurations before releasing them into production.
